In October 2006, our NGO “Helping Hands for Africa” organized a gospel concert in Lagos. Our NGO’s president, Joan Agboro, made use of her stay in Nigeria to make our NGO better known also in Nigeria. On the photos, you can see members of the gospel choir, wearing t-shirts with our logo. Among the guests invited were, among others: Commander Ayobami Omiyale as a representative of the municipality of Lagos, principals of schools attended by the orphans, and Pastor Favoured from Osubi who takes care of the orphans. Also, several representatives of the press were present.

Before the concert, Joan A. visited the orphanages in Osubi (Nigeria) and Batoke (Cameroon, together with Pastor Dorothy Wilson). There she could talk with the children we are taking care of.

This journey has, of course, not been paid by funds from the NGO. The children benefit directly from your donations.
